OK, I'll try and use this LJ thing for what it's for.
So my sister called me late this evening to inform me that my parents were in a head-on collision while coming back from PA. They are both OK, and are hopefully out of the ER now. My brother is driving out to get them and bring them home, as the car is totaled and they are both shook up pretty bad, and now on meds so they can't drive anyway. Apparently some lady got on the road going the wrong way and rammed them. She is also Ok, but remembers nothing after leaving her home.
So aside from the obvious, this is unnerving because I've had daydreams about this, only with them being killed or seriously hurt in the wreck. Oddly enough, one of my classes is doing a study now on imagined interactions, kinda like this. But when I spoke to my dad briefly, I could hear how shook up he was. he even spoke some slang with me. yeah, somethings wrong when Cpt. Stern says that!
So, I'm glad they're OK, that's all that matters. Kinda difficult to concentrate on all my homework and real work due with this, fighting off a cold, a still-injured foot and no ADHD meds left.
